January 2017 marks the first birthday of my blog! I’ve had a great first year blogging, achieving most of my blog and social media goals!

My 2016 goals were to have:

  1. 1000 blog views
  2. 50 blog followers
  3. 300 Twitter followers

I achieved the first 2 of my goals but was just short of my last one by 16 followers!

For 2017 my goals are as follows:

  1. 3000 blog views
  2. 100 blog followers
  3. 500 Twitter followers

Two types of blog posts that I enjoy writing the most are hauls and book reviews and these posts seem to get the most attention on my blog – probably because I enjoy them the most! So for 2017, my posts will mostly be blog reviews and hauls, which I’m really looking forward to!

Also this year, I’m starting a new blog series! Each month I’m going to read a book by an author whose birthday is in that month and then blog about it! The first upcoming post will be Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

In my personal life, there are a few areas I intend to work on. The first is to kick my habit of over thinking and the second is to stop getting so hung up on social media likes. I’m not sure how well I’ll end up sticking to them, but I’m going to try and it’s going well so far! A more fun goal of mine is to get better at photography. My parents bought me a camera for Christmas and I’ve been enjoying taking lots of photos!

I’ve also got a few places I’d like to visit and do in 2017:

  • Woburn Safari Park
  • Isle of Wight Zoo
  • Durdle Door
  • Spa Day
  • Iceland Holiday
  • Move in with my boyfriend (this one will be completed in a few weeks!)
  • See Ed Sheeran live

What are your goals for 2017? How are getting on with them so far?
